I think we need to expand on this section. Not enough is said about the dances from this area - people stereotype the Kalamatiano and tsamiko as being it...

I will try to post some names of dances and information in the weeks to come...

well im not sure about this.. but isnt tsamiko a pan hellenic dance? and not dedicated to just one part of greece?

There are many tsamiko-type dances. We frequently refer to "Tsamikos" as a pan-Hellenic dance, but in reality there are a great many tsamiko dances. Perhaps we need to be more specific.

More specific leads us to a longer road and wider dance field. I am practicing.
