Roumlouki

A new book, ROUMLOUKI, accompanied by 5 cds has been published by the Lykeio ton Ellinidon of Athens. This is a very worthwhile volume with lots of information and photographs, both old and recent. A great addition to your library of resources.

Boast away! My copy also came personally from Lefteri :D . I won't be going to Greece until September. During that time I shall be coordinating with the Central Public Library in Serres as all of my research in the area will be left as a permanent archive there. At the end of the month I shall be presenting a paper at a symposium in Athens; the symposium is titled The Ottoman Past in the Balkan Present. Should be interesting.

If I have time/money I shall take a short trip to Istanbul. Actually I'm invited to a wedding in Diyarbakir but don't know if I will be able to make it.

What's up with you?
Filakia,
Yvonne
